The most abundant nutrient in plantains is carbohydrate. Plantains are famed to be diuretic too and can help prevent kidney and bladder problems. With this in mind, let’s go bananas!
5 Green bananas
2 cloves garlic
1 cube chilli
- Peel bananas and cut to preferred sizes.
- Fry onion in pan, add finely chopped garlic. Throw in your banana pieces, chilli cube, salt, stir, lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, continue to simmer. Soften them. Once soft stir lightly, you do not want to break the bananas.
- Finally add parsley, cook for 10 seconds and the food is ready!
