BEFFTA Awards will unveil the BEFFTA Magazine – Hall Of Fame edition in London on 1st October 2015.
Founded by Pauline Long, BEFFTA (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) Awards honour black film directors, actors, beauty pageants, musicians, fashion designers, journalists, authors, models, radio personalities, TV personalities amongst others.
It is Europe’s biggest award ceremony celebrating black and ethnic personalities.
More than 6000 guests do attend the annual event in London.
Black stars have been nominated for awards in different categories including actors, models, actresses, Djs, radio personalities, TV personalities, dancers, journalists, poets, fashion designers, authors, film directors, film producers, sportsmen, sports women and more.
Some of the stars who have been celebrated with BEFFTA UK Lifetime Achievement Awards in the past include the legendary band The drifters, The Jacksons, TV personality Sir Trevor McDonald and entertainment icon Lenny Henry.
Ms Long said they were looking forward to celebrating yet another deserving legend who will be revealed soon.
“This year is extremely special, we have gone an extra mile to recognise more talent and in the spirit of giving back to the community everybody including the nominees will receive special prizes,” said Ms Long who is an entrepreneur, a TV presenter and a philanthropist.
