The most abundant nutrient in plantains is carbohydrate. Plantains are famed to be diuretic too and can help prevent kidney and bladder problems. With this in mind, let’s go bananas!
5 Green bananas
2 cloves garlic
1 cube chilli
1. Peel bananas and cut to preferred sizes.
2. Fry onion in pan, add finely chopped garlic. Throw in your banana pieces, chilli cube, salt, stir, lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add tomatoes, continue to simmer. Soften them. Once soft stir lightly, you do not want to break the bananas.
4. Finally add parsley, cook for 10 seconds and the food is ready!
