Nigeria’s Afro-pop star Quizzy explains why their new hit “No.1” with Kenya’s Vicmass Luodollar is fantastic

“No.1”, a new hot hit by Kenya’s Vicmass Luodollar and Nigeria’s Afro-pop star Quizzy is a unique song incorporating elements of RnB, trap music and hip-hop.

Quizzy, who is celebrating his first collaboration with Vicmass Luodollar, a musician he greatly admires, says their new song is above all “international because it is a mid-tempo song” dedicated to lovers.

Here’s an exclusive interview he granted MeltingpotNews.

Quizzy, how did you feel working with Vicmass Luodollar on “No. 1!?
First and foremost, I’d like to appreciate God, my management (Debasicsafrica) and my able producer (Gidberry) for creating such an important opportunity for me to expound my music career not only in Nigeria but outside the shores of Africa. However, I have always wanted to work with a Kenyan artist so when my management brought the good news about me doing a collaboration with Vicmass it seemed like a dream come true at that particular moment. Especially, my love for Vicmass’s current hit song “Bank Otuch” had me really felt fulfilled working with him.

Is this your first collaboration with a Kenya musician?
Hmm……yes, it is.

What is unique about this track?
Well, this song is so unique because it is a fusion of RnB, trap music, hip-hop and most of all it is so international because it is a mid-tempo song that can be played in clubs, cooperate and social events and extensively can be listened to often times by both genders. The song is so unique because it is basically dedicated to lovers and every time lovers listen to it, it reminds them of sweet memories that have been shared by both parties in the past.

What’s your message to your fans both in Nigeria and Kenya?
I love them all and I am so thankful for their unending support throughout the time things were a bit shaky to the present point in my life. I am also showing my deep appreciation to my management (Debasicsafrica) and my producer (Gidberry) because without them I would be a normal guy out here struggling with my career, I say God bless you the more. And to my Kenyan fans, I would simply say you need to anticipate and watch out for the boy Quizzy as I have loads of new tunes coming your way back to back and in every way. I am promising not to let any of my fans down. Thank you!
